. Ten points sharper
but recolored frosty light olive and chocolate brown with peeps
of faded artificial red showing in protected areas. Virtually void

head and a small planchet void right of the D in UNITED are the
best identifying defects. E-MDS, Breen state II, with a die crack
through the top of OP to the dentils near the adjacent A. The
strike is a bit uneven with weakness at the top of the obverse
and bottom of the reverse. The Stemless Wreath and Doubled
Fraction Bar features are clear.

the field before the portrait. A low spot at the bottom of the R in
LIBERTY (caused by a piece of debris stuck on the die) and a
nick in the leaves under I in UNITED are the other notable
marks. Frosty steel and light chocolate brown with a hint of light
bluish steel overtone. EDS, Breen state I, before any die cracks
or rim cuds. The Stemless Wreath and Doubled Fraction Bar
features are obvious.
