. Choice lustrous light olive
and medium chocolate brown. Satiny mint frost covers the plan-
chet and this cent offers outstanding eye appeal. Essentially
flawless in every respect. A tiny diagonal nick under the right
side of the N in ONE and another under the right side of the N
in CENT are the only contact marks. LDS.

. Choice frosty chocolate
brown and steel with traces of lighter brown and tan in some of
the protected areas. The fields and protected areas are covered
with satiny mint luster and the eye appeal of this cent is out-
standing. Looks mint state, but there is a trace of friction on the
highest points of the devices. A thin, light diagonal nick under
the ear is the best identifying mark. TDS with a narrow but
clearly defined rim cud break over the first A in AMERICA, an
unreported die state for this variety.

. Glossy light to medium
chocolate brown and steel with faded mint red covering 5-10%
of the planchet, mostly on the reverse. Underlying frosty mint
luster covers the fields and protected areas. The only mark wor-
thy of mention is a spot of darker olive brown toning on the first
1 in the date. M-LDS. The repunching on the R in AMERICA is
weak but visible. Most likely from the Randall Hoard of mint
state cents.

. Glossy medium chocolate
brown with lots of lighter brown and frosty tan in protected
areas. A small splash of darker reddish chocolate brown toning
at the inner point of star 11 is the only notable mark. An attrac-
tive cent, just lightly worn. MDS with the reverse rotated 30
degrees CCW. Both segments of the repunching at the bottom
of the T in CENT are visible.

. A mint state cent that was
very lightly cleaned on the obverse and has retoned nicely. The
obverse is glossy light to medium chocolate brown with hints of
lighter brown in the fields while the reverse is lustrous olive and
bluish steel brown with tiny spots of lighter brown toning inside
the wreath. No contact marks. Sharply struck MDS with fine
radial die flowlines in the fields while the lump over star 4 is dull

. Lustrous medium steel
brown and light chocolate mixed with wisps of darker olive and
steel brown toning. Tiny peeps of mint color remain visible on
both sides. The best identifying mark is a tiny speck of darker
toning in the field close before the mouth. Sharply struck MDS
with a die crack through the date and all stars. Most likely from
the Randall Hoard of mint state cents. A great type coin.
