1794 S-70 R2 Head of 1795 F15
. Sharpness VF35 but there
is shallow corrosion in the field behind the portrait and similar
roughness from the D in UNITED to the O in OF. The remainder
of the planchet is smooth with just traces of verdigris in a few of
the protected areas, and there are no significant marks. Mostly
glossy dark steel and olive brown. Sharply struck MDS, Breen
state II. The die crack at TY extends down into the cheek where
it fades away and there are fine die clashmarks on both sides.

1795 S-76b R1 Plain Edge PCGS graded AU50
. A beautiful
lustrous cent that is so close to mint state but there is an obvi-
ous nick on the chin. Otherwise this cent is choice in every
respect. Lustrous light olive and chocolate brown. MDS, Breen

still reaches all the way to the neck. Sharply struck on a nearly
flawless planchet.
