1894-O
.
PCGS graded AU-58 PQ.
CAC APPROVED.
Natural
patina surrounds the borders of this barely circulated example.
The fields impart a reflective appearance. Very scarce in finer
grades. (

)

1895-O
.
PCGS graded AU-55
. Nearly full luster and sharply
struck virtually everywhere. Mostly brilliant with some periph-
eral color and just the slightest rubbing on the highpoints of the
design. Notable for having the second lowest mintage of any
New Orleans Mint issue within the Morgan dollar series - just
450,000 pieces. Scarce in all grades and seldom available finer
than AU. (
PCGS # 7236
)
Estimated Value .................................................$900 - 1,000
1656
1895-S
.
PCGS graded XF Details, Cleaning.
Irregulat color
is splashed over the somewhat dull surfaces. A couple of marks
are also noted on the obverse. An example for the budget-
minded collector. (
PCGS # 7238
)
Estimated Value ................................................... $700 - 750

ing featuring electric-blue, sunset-red, and gold shades. A

.
PCGS graded MS-67
. A lovely, fully struck Superb
Gem with intensely lustrous snow-white surfaces that are
remarkably well preserved. Liberty's cheek is especially
clear of marks. This issue had a reasonably substantial
mintage of 2,822,000 pieces, but few have been preserved
as nice as this example.
Pop 27; 1 finer in 67+.

1897-O
.
PCGS graded AU-58
. Deep copper-red toning sur-
rounds the obverse and covers most of the reverse. Only the
lightest wear separates this one from Mint State. (
PCGS #
7248
)
Estimated Value ................................................... $500 - 550

1899
.
NGC graded MS-65+
. Frosty and untoned on the
obverse, the reverse exhibits streaky, multicolored hues. This
one appears to have been an "end" coin in a paper roll for
sometime.
Pop 2; 78 finer, 75 in 66, 3 in 67.
(
PCGS #

)
Estimated Value ................................................... $700 - 750

.
NGC graded Proof 55
. Unfortunately, this proof has
been mishandled resulting in a slight amount of surface wear
and some hairlines in the fields. Some sea-green color deco-
rates the peripheries. (
PCGS # 7335
)
Estimated Value ................................................... $650 - 700
