1900 Lafayette Dollar
.
PCGS graded MS-64
. The 1900
Lafayette dollar is one of the more difficult American commem-
orative silver issues to obtain so close to the Gem grade level.
This handsome coin displays medium golden peripheral toning
with a decided satiny appearance to the luster. The strike is as
sharp as is seen, and the surfaces are exceptional overall. Only
a couple of inconsequential abrasions are reported on Washing-
ton's portrait that may limit the grade. (
PCGS # 9222
)
Estimated Value ..............................................$1,500 - 1,600
