PCGS graded Proof 66 Deep Cameo PQ.
CAC
APPROVED.
This remarkable Gem specimen boasts liquid-
glass mirrors and an intensity of frost not seen on any but
the best and earliest specimens to eject from the dies
before the frostiness faded on each additional striking.
Bright centers with gentle golden toning circling the border
regions. A coin that will enhance a type collection or regis-
try set of the denomination and that will please even the
most fussy of collectors.

PCGS graded Proof 65 Deep Cameo
. Fully brilliant.
Only 1,150 struck. Centennial year. Dazzling mint brilliance, with
deep cameo frosted devices against swirling mirror fields on
either side. Typical for 1876 Proofs, this one is razor-sharp. The
ideal situation when combined with the strict Gem Proof PCGS
Proof 65 grade.

PCGS graded Proof 66 PQ.
CAC APPROVED.
A Gem
example that should be reviewed as a candidate for the
"Cameo" designation. Unbroken and unabraded luster and mint
frost cover the design elements. Attractive sky-blue and golden-
pink colors enhance the appearance of both sides, perhaps a bit
heavier on the reverse. A proof-only issue with second lowest
mintage of the series, only 510 pieces being struck. In its well
preserved state, the present lot seems like good value when
compared to rarity.
