obverse of the 1811 Five Shillings and Sixpence in cop-

per

. George III. Obverse type K, laureate draped bust of King

left, 5 berries in wreath. *. * on truncation. Struck on a rela-

tively thick (approximately. gram) flan/planchet from a some-

what rusted die. Some original color in legend. Similar to

Linecar and Stone ' English Proof and Pattern Crown Size Pieces

page 33, number 143, but in copper. Lightly striated edge.

Almost uncirculated and extremely rare.
