1887-S
.
NGC graded MS-64
. The 1887-S Liberty eagle is
conditionally rare at the MS-64 level; finer grades are virtually
unobtainable. This delightful Choice example exhibits sharply
detailed design elements and vibrant mint luster with attractive
orange and rose-gold surfaces. A couple of milling marks are
confined to Liberty's cheek.
Pop 11; 1 finer in 65.

1889-S
.
PCGS graded MS-64+.
CAC APPROVED.
Although the 1889-S ten dollar is available in bagmarked
Uncirculated grades, MS-60 to MS-63, near-Gems such as
this coin are important condition rarities. The surfaces are
brilliant and highly lustrous, with all the design features
showing bold definition. A couple of wispy marks and scuffs
are noted on each side, however, these are barely visible
without magnification and do not overly detract from the
coin's appealing appearance.
Pop 1; 1 finer in 65+.

1891-CC
.
NGC graded MS-62 PQ.
CAC APPROVED.
Sharply defined with well frosted surfaces, both sides exhibit
lovely rose-gold color. A few marks and surface scuffs are noted
overall that explain the assigned MS-62 grade. All Carson City
coins are always in high demand by collectors, especially so in
higher grades. (
