Plain edge. Pre-Union portrait and royal cruciform shield consisting of four badges, each topped by a

crown and divided by scepters, with a rose at the center. One of the great treasures of the Tyrant Collec-

tion. Displaying a fabulous portrait of Queen Anne and an equally detailed Royal Shield; probably the

finest known example of this extremely rare, early Proof, fully struck from special dies and blessed with

exquisite reddish gold toning.
