KM-666. George III. GEOE: over GEOR: on obverse. A superb

mint state example of this popular error coin, and probably the

nicest specimen on offer in many years. The error (an E

punched over the R in the abbreviated version of the king' s

name) is bold and clear, and the whole coin shimmers with orig-

inal mint luster. Very desirable. Extremely rare.

the ' bull head.' GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA. Reverse; Crowned

garter and ornamental shield of arms. Bright, lustrous and mint

state. Difficult to locate in this condition. Possibly undergraded.

rucci left. Reverse; Helmeted Britannia seated. A very rare mint

state Proof from the first year of the series. Great eye appeal.

Super sharp edges and razor sharp detail distinguishes this rare

Proof. This was always difficult to obtain, and now virtually

impossible to find in any state of preservation.
