. Frosty

white gem of this triple 8 lucky date. The surfaces are outstand-

ing and glow with mint luster and frost. Delicate hints of gold

are starting to form in the fields. Only 12,001 struck of which

merely 1,500 examples are estimated to have survived, this

being one of the finer examples seen today.

. Lovely rainbow toning on

both sides. Only 12,000 minted of which merely 1,200

examples are estimated to have survived and this one is

tied with the absolute finest. The color, surfaces and eye

appeal are literally off the charts. The 1890 Liberty Seated

half dollar is the penultimate year of production, with the

Barber series on the nearby horizen in 1892. A simply fan-

tastic coin that will dazzle any specialist who appreciates

rarity and quality.
