1957 Eisenhower inaugural medal
. 70 mm, only 21,705
struck. Designed by Walker Hancock, who was also the
engraver of the 1953 inaugural medal for Eisenhower. Hancock
rejected the assignment initially due to his heavy commitments
as the sculptor of the American Academy in Rome. It was Eisen-
hower's presidential command that finally put Hancock back to
work with the 1957 inauguration executive committee. On this
medal, Eisenhower suggested to put both his own and Nixon's
portrait on the reverse.

1961 Kennedy inaugural medal
. 70 mm, 0.999 pure silver.
Only 7,500 struck. Kennedy suggested to use the president's
seal as the reverse of the medal, and this idea was adopted by
a lot of later presidents. The Medallic Art Company reduced the
original high relief design by 20% to save the money and time
in striking these medals.

A pair of 1965 Johnson inauguration silver and bronze
medals
. The executive committee wanted to keep the silver
medals the same price as the 1961 JFK inaugural medals. How-
ever, the price of silver had risen dramatically since 1961.
Therefore, they had to reduce the size of the silver medals to 64
mm, while the bronze ones remained the traditional 70 mm.
There were totally 7,695 struck in silver and 26,275 struck in
bronze. Housed in a lucite presentation holder as a pair. Lot of 2
medals.

Struck in 7 experimental metals including .925 silver. One of 50
sets made in proof with reeded edges. Obverse, bust of Truman
left, date below. Reverse, view of White House with eagle in
foreground.
*President Harry S Truman was 33rd President of the United
States. He died on December 26 1972, and these pattern coins
are dated 1973. Popular and scholarly assessments of Truman's
presidency were intitially negative, but eventually became more
positive after his retirement from politics. Nevertheless there is
no circulating coin which bears his image.

medal with "Maco 24 Kt G/P on .000 Silver" stamped on the
edge.
The medal is in UNC condition with vermeil toning.

ticket for 1969 Nixon's inauguration, in AU condition; a
information card for the funeral services of President
McKinley; a beautiful large ribbon with Lincoln's por-
trait, probably worn with a badge during some celebra-
tion or commemoration; a delicate metal framed Lincoln
pendant created by Abbott & Co., 143 Nassau St. New
York; a large spear head with Lincoln and his vice presi-
dent Hamlin's names, probably a campaign item; 1908
Bryan & Kern bronze badge; a small bronze portrait of
McKinley; and some other items.
A very interesting lot for
collectors who have passion in presidential collectibles. Careful
examine recommended before bidding. Lot of 8 items.

Struck in bronze and white metal, some are very interesting
