als were struck in 1937 by Medallic Art Co., New York for Roos-
evelt's 2nd inauguration.

. Bronze, 41 mm. Only 2,000 struck.
There were two editions of these medals of Roosevelt's 3rd
inauguration. Type 1 was originally ordered with a mintage of
1,000 pieces. However, These medals were sold out so quickly,
that the committee had to order another group, which were
these Type 2 issues. The Type 2 medals bear a "2" on the
reverse, to be distinguished from the Type 1 issues.
