1897 McKinley inaugural badge

The medal is in AU con-
dition.
Together with a top hanger and a broken ribbon. It is
believed that about only 3,000 of these badges were struck,
although there's no clear record to prove. These medals were
highly demanded by the public, but the committee decided to
issue only for members that performed duty during the celebra-
tion.

1897 McKinley Presidential Campaign Medal. SCH-909,
Brass. Mack, Teddy, & Prosperity. "Bryan Money"

. This political issue was made to support
McKinley's policy of maintaining the gold standard against
Bryan's free silver. A beautiful looped medal with a rotatable
core part. Currently shows "A Dollar Worth 100 Cents" on the
reverse and "I'm all right" on the obverse. If rotate the core part
to right, the head and right wing of the eagle will come down,
showing a depressed pose, and the inscription on the reverse
will turn to "A Dollar Worth 50 Cents", while the inscription on
the obverse turn to "Where am I at?" simultaneously. A very
historic and well designed mechanical piece that remained to be
popular after 100 years.

1905 Theodore Roosevelt inaugural medal
.

. Bronze, 44 mm. Only 3,000 struck. The design
of the 1905 inaugural medal came from the original design of
1901 when Roosevelt became the president after the death of
McKinley. The obverse of the 1901 medal was engraved by
Charles Barber, and the reverse was designed by his assistant,
George T. Morgan. The Davison Company took the design and
changed the date to 1905, then reduced the size. The gold and
2 silver medals were made by Tiffany & Co., while all 3,000
bronze ones were produced by Joseph K. Davison's Sons Com-
pany.

1907 McKinley commemorative set of medals and certif-
icates
. A nice displayed set of McKinley commemorative med-
als and certificates. Consist of:
a white metal medal dated
1907; a badge of McKinley Memorial, Canton Ohio; a
large certificate indicating the bearer's contribution to
the fund for a event in honor of McKinley in Ohio, Sep-
tember 1907; and a ticket which admitted the bearer to
the spectators stand at monument hill during the event.
All items are nicely displayed in a frame as a presentation piece.
