is the so-called "Peacock" reverse, although an eagle is actually
depicted. The bird's tail extends beneath the arrows, and the
lines above and behind the bird are glory rays. An important
Period One type, and a highly desirable one the series. This is a
deep reddish-gold example with typical minor laminations in the
reverse field.
