. Extremely rare type, apparently unpublished. Shiraz is the capital of Fars province in southern

Iran.

caliph al-Qa’im and Dhakirat al-Din (heir) cited on obverse. Rare. A recently discovered type. All spec-

imens come from a single hoard which entered the trade in 1990, all apparently struck at al-Ahwaz and

all dated 445h.
