Important Israeli Signed Photos and Document
. Consists
of five historic items:
1. June 26, 1967 2 page typed document in the form of an
introduction for Tuviah Freidman to the Leaders of the Jewish
Organizations of the U.S.A. and Canada from the Institute of
Documentation in Israel, signed by the individual members of
the Institute. This relates to helping Tuviah Freidman arrange
for lectures on the Holocaust,
"and make it possible for him to
take evidence from Holocaust survivors who may reside in your
cities, in order to discover any Nazi criminals who are still free,
before the Statue of Limitation comes into effect in December,
1969
Signatories include:
Yitzhak Rabin (Prime Minister); Shimon Peres (Defence Minis-
ter); Menahem Savidor (Speaker of the Knesset); Menachem
Begin (Prime Minister); and many more.

. (1887-1983) Polish-American classical
pianist; one of the great pianists of the 20th century. Typed let-
ter signed, 1p, 8¾ x 7¼" (Paris), June 15, 1977. To Mr. Michel,
Executive Vice President, United Jewish Appeal Federation, say-
ing that at age 90, he can't be sure that he will be able to
accept an invitation in New York. Also, regarding a television
interview that Mr. Rubinstein had done, "…I am glad that I did
express my feelings about my Jewishness on that particular
television show….I am sure that I made the statement with full
conviction…." Huge signature. Matted with a signed, inscribed
photo dated 2-1-78 and framed to an overall size of 13¼ x
17¼".

participation in World War I. This profusely illustrated, massive
tome, commemorates the involvement of Jewish soldiers from
the British Isles, Australia and New Zealand during the martial
conflict of 1914-1918. Within the context of Zionist history and
the redemption of Palestine from the Ottoman Turks, this vol-
ume acknowledges the individual Jews, who with their counter-
parts, personally fought for that redemption as the first step in
the creation of Palestine as a future homeland for the Jewish
