$20 Gold
1995
1909-S
.
PCGS graded MS-64
. Lovely golden toning on both
sides, billowing luster throughout, even suggestions that this is
a Gem that nudges the MS65 level. (

Estimated Value ..............................................$1,700 - 1,800

1910-D
.
PCGS graded MS-65
. A nice example with light gold
toning and a Gem. A boldly original gold-surfaced coin whose
high-end depth of detail in the strike complements the equally
fresh mint bloom. Unlike the general run of pieces of this cali-
ber, the strike is thoroughly convincing in all places, even where
some weakness might be found at Liberty's upper body and in
the eagle's chest feathers. (

Estimated Value ..............................................$2,500 - 2,600

1911
.
PCGS graded MS-64
. Lightly toned. Sleek warm yellow
gold in color seesaws with an occasional hint of pinkish bril-
liance. Something perhaps worth adding to the smooth finish on
this 1911 Saint is how desirable this coin is with a precision
strike on all devices. Philadelphia Mint at its finest!

1911-D
.
PCGS graded MS-65
. A nice frosty coin. Strong
metal flow augments the already showy golden mint luster that
covers the surfaces, giving the coin a brand new, cartwheel
appearance. The mint brilliance is nowhere touched by toning.
A rounded impression is the rule for some dates in this series,
but everything imprinted by the stamp of the dies that struck
this date is in bold relief; we are happy to say that the present
example is a grand example of the date and grade, being very
sharp throughout including centers. (

1911-S
.
NGC graded MS-64+ PQ.
CAC Approved
. This
coin exudes tremendous originality and is quite choice. Taking
in to account the considerable price jump from MS64 to MS65,
this fresh example warrants a significant premium. Soothing
golden tones blanket both sides beautifully. (

well struck one. (
