Lydo-Milesian standard. Geometric design somewhat resembling a star,although a bit irregular and lack-

ing symetry. Reverse: Single incuse punch with a central pellet and radiating lines dividing punch into

eight equal compartments, further divided by two horizontal lines that flank the central pellet.

Lydo-Milesian standard. ΦANEOΣ [EIMI], legend retrograde, (“I am the badge of Phanes”), stag graz-

ing right. Reverse: Central rectangular punch flanked by two small square punches, each divided with

a rough geometric pattern.
