The elegant crowned portrait used on this denomination only in 1847 and 1853. UNDECIMO raised

lettered edge. Date in roman numerals. A nearly perfect, truly superb coin enhanced by exquisite am-

ber-gold and greenish gray iridescence, evenly toned on each side.
