George II, Hanover king, 1727-1760, silver Proof set 1746. Old laureate and draped Bust on all pieces,

VICESIMO edge date on the crown and halfcrown, the first-ever set struck in proof state for collectors

by the Royal Mint, graded by PCGS as follows: Crown (S-3690) PR Genuine Damage, Halfcrown (S-

3696) PR65, Shilling (S-3704) PR65, Sixpence (S-3711) PR65. All pieces have matching, old-cabinet,

deep golden greenish blue iridescent toning. Only 100 sets were minted.
