while breaking through the enemy defenses, and capturing the city of Keltse.

• Order of the Red Banner #43901 (Type 1, screwback).
• Order of the Red Banner #3761 (Type 1, screwback, extremely rare variation
without mintmark, with less than a handful observed).
• Order of the Patriotic War I Class #24404.
• Order of the Red Star #852954.
• Order of the Red Banner of Labor #406690.
• Orders Book, listing all of the above awards (nothing is missing).
• Another Orders Book for the Hero Star and corresponding Order of Lenin
only (the items themselves were kept by the family).
• Research copies from Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of Russian
