A commemorative plaque on lading of the submarine AG 11 by Noblesse
Company at the Baltic Shipyard on 15 May 1916.
Silvered bronze. 70 x 108
mm. Marked with warrant stamp to the Imperial Court by Morozov in lower right
– ‘МОРОЗОВЪ’. Submarine was laid in a presence of Navy Minister -
General-Adjutant Admiral Grigorovich and many other Russian Navy and Army
ranking officers.
Very rare
and historically important. Similar plaques for other
submarines are in the Naval Museum in St. Petersburg.
