Rare - only nine specimens cited in Mildenberg.

Understriking of a Syrian Tetradrachm

of Trajan visible on the reverse. Toned. Nearly extremely fine.

This marvelous sela is overstruck on a provincial tetradrachm of Trajan from Syria or Bostra in Arabia.
