An interesting variety nicknamed the "Superbird" quarter. Close
examination reveals a tiny raised "S" on the center of the
eagle's breast. It is unknown what may have caused this mark,
although speculation suggests it was a tiny imperfection on the
hub, leaving a depression in the coinage die, leading to the
raised mark on the finished coin. Moderately toned and appear-
ing fully original. (

makes the reverse of O-102 immediately recognizable. Another
diagnostic is that the U in UNITED is boldly doubled. A nicely
