1919-S
.
PCGS graded MS-65
. Housed in an Old Green Holder. Frosty and well struck with a hint of light tone. A foremost rarity that boasts
a strong strike on Liberty and flashy white luster throughout. Long known as one of the key dates in the series, the 1919-S Walking Liberty is
only on occasion found with a sharp strike, and is a true rarity in Gem MS65 condition. To locate a gem that is well struck is something
extraordinary, something no serious buyer should sneeze at. Further, this is could easily make a centerpiece coin in any Walking Liberty set as
it that spectacular. Frosty white in the fields and bordered by a nice high rim that is perfectly preserved at the edge, no injury. Looks as if
someone hand-picked it from an original roll, if such a thing could be imagined!
As to the rarity, PCGS has graded 39 this high. If you require a well struck example, then be sure to examine this one closely because it has
details you simply won't see on most others, even if they grade the same. Quality such as this is never inexpensive, so calculate your bid with
awareness there will be other bidders vying for ownership.
