better.

Struck en médaille. Edge corded (KM 37a). In PCGS holder certified “Tooled – XF Details”, a few light
scratches before bust and in reverse fields, otherwise about extremely fine, well struck.

with his fasces privy mark (KM 3). In NGC holder graded PR65 (only five certified proofs by NGC,
including possible resubmissions, one is 62, three are 64 and a single 65, this coin, PCGS has graded
only one proof at 62), gem quality exhibiting full brilliance overlaid in pale gold highlighted by russet
in the protected areas.
A rare Proof strike, the highest graded and maybe the finest extant.
