GERMANICVS IMP, bare head of Nero Claudius Drusus left.
Reverse:
TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP P P, Emperor
seated left on curule chair, holding branch and roll; below,
weapons and armor on either side of globe; in exergue, S C.
RIC 109; BMC 208; Cohen 8. Struck on a huge flan and well
centered. We note tooling and smoothing in the fields, nonethe-
less, quite attractive with uniform glossy dark brown patina.
